Since its inception, KIRVIT has been developing  various static flight training, using robust simulation platform programs like the popular Microsoft® Flight Simulator, X-Plane by Laminar Research®, and now Prepar3D®, attempting to recreate in the best possible way, the cabin and cockpit of a certain type of aircraft.

HOME FLIGHT SIMULATOR I

Our first development was an innovative product: The Home Flight Simulator, a device that responded to the demands of virtual aviation of that time (2001), which provided customers with effective communication with MS® FS2002.

HOME FLIGHT SIMULATOR II

Home Flight Simulator evolves in 2003, achieving significant benefits and services improvements and response times, working with versions 8 and 9 of the MS®FS.

This device has been used by many satisfied customers, including several recognized flight schools in our region.

WRIGHT TRAINER 2003

In that same year, KIRVIT released to the aviation community in Bogotá the device named Wright Trainer 2003 (in honor of the Wright brothers and the100 years of aviation celebration), a result of supplementation of Home Flight Simulator. This device was designed  primarily to the operation of twin jet engine aircraft emulation with functional controls for pilot and copilot, the of pneumatic, pressurization, fire extinguisher and annunciator systems simulation of those type of aircrafts, with a failures control panel from which the instructor can generate abnormal and emergency situations, testing basic and advanced skills of the flight crew .

A year later, this equipment was updated in function and performance, adapting to new MS® FS2004 and dramatically improving the hardware, it no longer need to be manually prior synchronized with the simulation engine by the user, with real-time response and ability to multitask. 

As main tool for our Training Center, the Wright Trainer 2003, a pioneer in Colombia in this kind of training devices, has been used extensively for all our students, both real and virtual pilots, and personnel of the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority,and many enthusiastpilots, applying principles of CRM, LOFT and flight technique.

Currently, this device is operating at our headquarters in Bogotá, configured to fly a Boeing 737-700 NG.

KMC-18

In 2004, we built a static trainer for the School of Aviation of the Navy of the Republic of Colombia, which emulates the flight deck of an Beechcraft King Air 350, with all its controls and levers, ambient sound, communications equipment and station of instructor. 

The cabin was constructed in glass fiber on a very resistant modular iron structure, which facilitates its removal, transport and reassembly.

This device was currently at the ARC base in Barranquilla City, but in 2011 was summit to an upgrading process, improving many features more including the visual scenery projected on external screen of 180° horizontal, and new hardware and software with our exclusive instruction control system ZEPHYRUS©, as well as the evolution to a simulation engine within FAA parameters. TURBOPROP FTD

Responding to the needs of our customers, in 2005 we developed a version of Home Flight Simulator II with application to propeller-driven airplanes.

MODULAR DEVICES

In 2007 we presented at the Air Festival of Armenia our Basic Training Consoles, focused on propeller aircraft operated, very useful especially for individual flight practices of aviation students.

Simultaneously, and in addition to this fine product, we began marketing of modular elements, such as the Lever Set ATP10 and pedals (for more detailed information about each modular device, click the respective image).

CONFIGURATIONS ON REQUEST

As a corollary of our major developments, KIRVIT is able to configure its developments making the relevant combinations, depending on the type of aircraft selected, considering the preferences, requirements and needs of each customer.

SPECIFIC SOLUTIONS

Our hard work does not end but only begins by providing developments with one hundred percent Colombian design. So we got the adjustments, upgrades and improvements to the Vertical de Aviación's FSS for Mi-8/17, the EJC's B200 FTD, ESAVI's B206 and C26 FTD's, and National Police's B300 FTD.
