STATIC FLIGHT TRAINERS

KIRVIT Ltd. has developed diverse static flight trainers, using as simulation platform the Microsoft® Flight Simulator 2004 ACOF, with which is looked for to recreate in the best possible way the certain type of airships cockpits, among them the Wright Trainer 2003 and the KMC-18, this last one built for Colombia's Navy.

WRIGHT TRAINER 2003

This equipment was developed as basic prototype of simulation for a twin jet cockpit. Their name, in homage to the men that in 1903 they were able to sustain in the air their wooden gliders "Flyer I, II and III": the Wright brothers.

It has controls it bends command, that is to say, it can be flown by two pilots, and it responds to most of the commands and systems of this class of airships, reason why their users can carry out some very complete checkup lists during their flights.

Additionally, it has a console of configuration of flaws in flight with which an instructor can put on approval the pilots' abilities and dexterities.

The Wright Trainer 2003 have been taken advantage of thoroughly for almost all our students of the CEK, virtual pilots in general, personal of the Colombian Aeronautics Bureau (UAEAC) and many pilots real graduates that have found in it an excellent tool to improve the appropriate acting of their flight procedures.

At the moment, this device is in our headquarters of Bogotá, to all the flight enthusiasts disposition, configured to fly a Boeing 737-300/400, principally.

KMC-18

For the Republic of Colombia Navy we build a static trainer that reproduces with great fidelity the Beechcraft King Air 350 cockpit, with absolutely all their commands and levers, sound ambient, communication devices and instructor's console.

The visual system was implemented with monitors, nevertheless it is feasible to configure it on wide external surfaces of 120 or 180 degrees.

This equipment is manufactured in glass fiber on a very resistant and desarmable structure, what facilitates its disassembly, transport and new assembly.

This device rests in the facilities of the Colombian Navy located in the Eldorado International Airport of city of Bogotá, since May of 2004, and it has stayed up-to-date and in constant operation until today.

TURBOPROP FLIGHT TRAINING DEVICE

This device obtains the static flight simulation focused in the operation of propeller airships moved by turbine or piston engines, allowing a multiple configuration, according to the selected airplane, with base in Basic Flight Training Consoles or the Home Flight Simulator 2 version Turboprop FTD, useful for the individual flight practices of our students.

This device will count with visual based on individual monitors for pilot and copilot, as well as with double controls (jokes and pedals).

OTHER TRAINERS

At the moment, the Company is developing two new static trainers of flight:

PIPER NAVAJO PA-31

This project seeks the exact emulation of a Piper Navajo (PA-31) cockpit, 1:1 scale, with flight instruments exposed in LCD screens, as much for pilot as for copilot, analog motor instruments, illuminated panel announcer, radio rack, automatic pilot, jokes and pedals double command, engine, landing gear and flaps levers, and completely operable compensators, among other characteristic functions of this airplane. The visual one would be projected out by means of video beams up to 180 degrees.
